FAQ

Here are some Frequently Asked questions. Please feel free to Contact Us
for more information.

Q Does Mojave Family Experience provide food and water?
A We do not provide food. A water jug is available, you must bring your own water bottle to refill.

Q Does Mojave Family Experience provide transportation?
A At this time we do not provide transportation. We are working on a way for classmates to exchange information and carpool.

Q Are there refrigerators or microwaves for storing and preparing lunches.
A No. Bag lunches that require little refrigeration and preparation are best.

Q What if there is inclement weather?
A Mojave Family Experience classes take place rain or shine, wind or snow. We view different weather situations as an opportunity to teach preparedness. We may end a class early if there is a risk of flooding, or lightning.

Q Are there restrooms available?
A There are restrooms available sometimes. Mojave Family Experience staff will instruct students on proper back country toileting procedures when we are away from restrooms.

Q What is your refund policy?
A We will refund your tuition up to one week before classes begin. After that time it is difficult for us to spread the word to find someone to fill that seat and cover our costs. If you withdraw, and we find someone to take your place, we will refund your money.

Q Can my group buy a whole class?
A Absolutely! We can schedule classes just for your group that will cost less than enrolling individually.

Q Can I drop my child off and then pick them up at the end of class?
A Yes you may drop your child off and pick them up.YOU MUST GIVE ADVANCE NOTICE AND RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT IT IS OK. We do require that one parent per class stay as a chaperone.
